Critical Thinking Software

As I've been "preping" a course in ethics and critical thinking I've been considering the use of software to help layout arguments, and I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or experience with them. Douglas Walton points to two programs in the first chapter of Argumentation Schemes.

  1. Hi Colin,
I use have only used araucaria, and it is great because it is free and it does what it advertises.

  2. I’ve used rationale. I thought it was very good. Also, Tim van Gelder is great and offers good support. His “critical thinking on the web” is a great site too.
