{"id":3648,"date":"2012-06-21T08:10:55","date_gmt":"2012-06-21T13:10:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thenonsequitur.com\/?p=3648"},"modified":"2012-06-21T08:10:55","modified_gmt":"2012-06-21T13:10:55","slug":"not-really-hypocrisy-of-the-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thenonsequitur.com\/?p=3648","title":{"rendered":"Not really hypocrisy of the day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thinkprogress.org\/economy\/2012\/06\/20\/502846\/paul-admits-social-security\/\">Think Progress is accusing Ron Paul of hypocrisy<\/a> for criticizing social security but taking it (<a href=\"http:\/\/thinkprogress.org\/politics\/2011\/05\/15\/166363\/paul-ss-medicare-slavery\/\">they also suggest<\/a> that he compared social security to slavery, which he did and didn&#39;t: &nbsp;He did in the &quot;immoral&quot; sense, but not in the &quot;social security is a type of slavery sense):<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Paul is, of course, not the only conservative to benefit from government programs that he or she opposes.
